PRESENTATION DETAILS
A Suzaku view of 4U 1909+07
Presentation duration: 15 minutes
Presenter: Felix Fuerst
4U 1909+07 is a rarely observed persistent high-mass X-ray binary neutron star. I will present a detailed analysis of a recent 25ksec Suzaku observation, which shows agreement with older RXTE and INTEGRAL data. 4U 1909+07 shows a very interesting pulse profile, where one peak is significantly harder than the other. Using pulse phase resolved spectroscopy I will discuss possible explanations.
