» Low dispersion spectroscopy with ESA Gaia

The ESA Gaia satellite will deliver part of data as ultra low dispersion spectrographs. We will review the available sky surveys in low dispersion spectroscopy and compare their parameters to those expected from Gaia. A real simulator will be proposed based on resampled data from digitized sky patrol spectral data. The scientific use of this type of data will be also discussed.
