The PANTER X-ray test facility has been used for development, characterization, and calibration of many X-ray optical instrumentations (mirrors, filters, detectors, etc.) in the last decades. Current and future missions (eROSITA, IXO, ...) require changes to the facility layout as well as to measurement techniques.
