Overview of the INAF-OAB activities in the frame of IXO project

A review of the ongoing and planed activities at INAF-OAB in the context of ESA/NASA/JAXA IXO project will be presented. The Brera Observatory is leading a study financed by ESA for the development of glass x-ray optics based on the hot slumping technology and on the integration of the mirrors by means of glass ribs. After the positive conclusion of phase one of the project in which the slumping and integration technologies have been fully analyzed, the second phase is aimed at the realization of an X-ray Optical Unit Bread Board (XOU-BB), fully representative of the IXO telescope modules.
